Waiting for the ice to go away so I can get some in the water use. Big step up from the Gen 3

I purchased the Live 9 with 3 and 1 transducer. This unit is amazing. Very fast. I can Bluetooth my phone and power-poles to operate on the screen. The clarity of the images is crazy good. I absolutely love it that I bought two. The down image with fish reveal is the best I have seen. I love the seperation of fish from cover.

Best unit ever 18/10/2019

The HDS live 16 is worth the money and then some. The screen quality and ease of use is next to none. I went from 2 12's at the dash to one 16 and love it.

I purchased this 16 inch unit to replace 2 Carbon 12 units I have at my helm. I ran 2 units previously for the ability to run dual mapping. For example, Navionics and Lowrance mapping. Another example is while on plane, I like to have a large map zoomed out and one zoomed in so I can see more detail. With the previous dual core units, that meant using 2 units or suffering from slower performance. The Live units are quad core and can handle that processing power on one unit with split screens. Additionally, they are much more responsive across the board. The new 3 n 1 transducer is great with high detail images. Looking forward to adding Live Sight later this year. The live mapping functionality is great too as you can get a true picture of what you are fishing or make more accurate maps for upcoming fishing trips while you are scouting.
